Julie L. Sloan is a noted stained glass scholar and conservator, and the preeminent authority on Wrights leaded glass. She will speak about Light Screens: The Leaded Glass of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Virtually all of Frank Lloyd Wrights buildings from the Prairie period were designed with art glass in the majority of their windows. Working at the same time as Louis Comfort Tiffany, Wright produced at least 4,500 leaded-glass windows. His use of clear glass in abstract designs and as an architectural element was as revolutionary as Tiffanys use of opalescent glass.
With support from the Regional Arts Commission.
