About William Bernoudy When Frank Lloyd Wright launched the Taliesin Fellowship in 1932, William Adair Bernoudy was a charter apprentice. Back in St. Louis, Bernoudy became the leading advocate for organic modern architecture and his innovative designs helped establish the city’s modernist style. The Gertrude & William A. Bernoudy Foundation proudly sponsors this year’s Preserving What’s Wright, which kicks off a year-long celebration of Bernoudy’s architecture and the value of experiential learning
