ABOUT YOUR VISIT

Come experience the unique home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Ruth and Russell Kraus in 1951. The docent-led tour highlights the Usonian features and the significance of the home in the context of Wright’s career and legacy. You’ll also learn about the Krauses and their inspiration and dedication to building their home.

TOUR PRICING

$20 per adult
$10 per child (children must be 7 years or older)

Tours are free for members of the FLWHEP and with Frank Lloyd Wright Reciprocal Sites Membership. Please have your membership card to present at the time of your tour.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • NOTE: As of September 1, 2022 masks are optional for guests, staff, and volunteers.
  • Tours last approximately 60 minutes.
  • Visitors may take personal-use photos on their tour. Please see the guidelines below.
  • Children under 7 years are not allowed on tours (including infants and toddlers).
  • Large bags/backpacks may not be brought in the home. Please leave in your locked vehicle or the FLWHEP will provide a secure location during your tour.
  • The restroom facility on-site is a port-a-potty on the park grounds.
  • The park is gated until 30 minutes prior to scheduled tours.

ACCESSIBILITY

The FLWHEP has limited wheelchair accessibility. Individuals with mobility or accessiblity needs should contact us at 314 822 8359 or tours@ebsworthpark.org to arrange accommodations.

GROUP TOURS & FIELD TRIPS

Groups Tours (6-20 people) are available with advance reservations (two-week minimum notice). Group tour pricing is $20/adult. Contact Lydia Nunes at tours@ebsworthpark.org to schedule your group.

The FLWHEP welcomes students grade 4 – university on field trips. To make a reservation for your student group, contact Lydia Nunes at tours@ebsworthpark.org. Student field trips are FREE with advance reservations (four-week minimum notice).

PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES

Visitors to the FLWHEP are welcome to take photos to remember and share their visit. Please observe the following guidelines:

  • Tour guests may take non-tripod photos of the interior and exterior of the home while on a docent-led tour.  Please be courteous of other guests and your docent. 
  • Photos are for personal, noncommercial use only.
  • Tripods, selfie sticks, bulky bags, and equipment are not permitted inside the home.
  • Video and audio recording is prohibited.
  • Requests for commercial use must be directed in writing to the Executive Director.
  • The FLWHEP reserves the right at its sole discretion to withhold or withdraw permission to photograph on its premises.
