Coronavirus Response
Due to developments related to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and for the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers, and staff, the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park will be closed for public tours starting Sunday, March 15 through Thursday, April 30, 2020. We will continue to monitor the latest developments from local, county and state health officials and tentatively plan to reopen on May 1. Please stay in touch via Facebook and our website for further updates.
We will be contacting visitors who have reservations for tours during the closure to reschedule or refund. If you have tour reservations and would like to reschedule, please contact tours@ebsworthpark.org.

Guided Tours of the FLWHEP are available year-round. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended as tour size is limited.

FEES

Tours are $10 per adult, $5 for children 7-12. Children must be at least 7 years old to tour the house.

Tours are FREE for FLWHEP members. A $50 annual membership provides free admission for one member, membership at the $75 level or above includes free admission for one member and one guest. Members may visit as often as they wish. Learn more about all the benefits of becoming a member here.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Tours last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Tours begin with an informational video followed by a docent-led tour of the house. The tour highlights the home’s Usonian-style features, unique floorplan, original furnishings, as well as the significance of the house in the context of Wright’s career and legacy.

Please note:
  • Bathroom facilities are not available except for a port-a-potty located on the park grounds.
  • Backpacks and purses are not allowed inside the house during the tour. Guests may leave purses/backpacks in their locked vehicle or in a secure location that will be provided by the FLWHEP.
  • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for touring the grounds.
  • Tour guests may take photographs of the exterior of the house and grounds. Interior photography is not allowed.

The FLWHEP is not handicapped accessible. Individuals with mobility restrictions should contact us at 314 822 8359 or tours@ebsworthpark.org to learn what options are available.

GROUPS

Special arrangements may be made for groups of 10 or more. For group tour information, please contact us at 314 822 8359 or tours@ebsworthpark.org at least two weeks prior to your visit.

SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

The FLWHEP welcomes field trips for students Grades 4 and above. Students have an opportunity to learn about Frank Lloyd Wright and the design and construction of a unique home.
Fees for school groups are $5 per student.

BUS PARKING

Small shuttles and buses (25 passengers or less) may use the parking lot. The driveway cannot accommodate large motor coaches and school buses. Bus drivers should drop off and pick up passengers at the gate on the east side of North Ballas Road.
