Volunteer

The FLWHEP has several opportunities for you to become involved. Contact us at 314 822 8359 or info@ebsworthpark.org if you would like to learn more about volunteering.

Tour Assistants

Tour Assitants are the ‘welcome committee’ for our tour visitors.  Tour Assitants greet and check in tour guests and make sales in the Museum Gift Shop. Tour Assistants are also responsible for preparing and closing the house for tours.  If you like working with people and enjoy beautiful architecture, consider being a Tour Assistant.  Volunteers are asked to work a minimum of one three-hour shift per month.  Training and ongoing support provided by staff.

Docents

The FLWHEP relies on a dedicated group of volunteer docents to provide tours of the house. Docents receive training on the legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright and the design, construction, and restoration of the Kraus House. If you enjoy learning about history and architecture and sharing your knowledge with others, this is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for you.

Special Events

Volunteers can help with the FLWHEP annual fundraising event as well as periodic educational programs for the St. Louis community.

Grounds and Landscaping

The FLWHEP has occasional needs for assistance in maintaining the 10.5-acre property in partnership with the St. Louis County Parks Department. Possible projects include weeding, watering, and removal of honeysuckle
